About PrimeTime® Programs
PrimeTime® offers churches and other organizations an effective tool for sharing God’s love and His Word with children in grades 1 – 5. This faith based after-school program is well suited for both outreach to children who may not regularly attend church as well as children in the church.
This flexible curriculum enables churches and organizations to share God’s love through creative Bible engagement and the caring relationships of program leaders. Leaders are equipped with background on the Bible passages and instructions for all aspects of the program.
PrimeTime®Plus
Responding to PrimeTime graduates asking for more, Scripture Union is excited to offer PrimeTime®Plus for middle school youth (grades 6-8). Along with all the benefits of PrimeTime, this program offers new opportunities for young people to develop a relationship with God through His Son Jesus.
PrimeTime® and PrimeTime®Plus are designed to cover 40 weeks corresponding to a typical school year. The curriculum includes 2 introductory sessions, 34 regular weekly sessions and 4 additional sessions for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter. Download sample lessons below.
Supplemental activities and suggestions will enable you to run the program more than once a week if desired. This adaptable curriculum can also be used with homework clubs, sports clubs, art or music clubs, or in a homeschool setting. Download guidelines for adapting the curriculum below.
In Following Jesus, children and young people are introduced to what it means to follow Jesus; to understand the importance of prayer, to develop a habit of Bible reading, and to become a part of a faith community that encourages and serves others. Currently available for PrimeTime® and PrimeTime®Plus.
God's Big Story takes participants through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Fully revised version will be available in 2025.
Heroes of the Faith is being revised and will be available for PrimeTime® and PrimeTime®Plus in 2025.
